Boston Feminists for Liberation is a group of trans and cis women who aim to end female oppression and all intersecting forms of oppression, including racism, classism, cissexism, heterosexism, bodyshaming, fat hatred, ageism and ableism. We are sick of the male supremacy steeped throughout our culture, and we will no longer accept blame for the violence done to us. We’re done with being told that other women are our competition. We deserve better.
We will learn to trust other women. We will build a culture where we can walk unafraid and we will defend ourselves against all attacks on our bodily autonomy. Together, we will create a world worth living in. This is a fight for our lives and a fight we will not stop.
Because our politics are informed by our shared experiences living in the politically oppressed class of “women,” BFL is only open to trans and cis women.
